Job Summary

As a Senior Cypress Automation (11909), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

 

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for front-end applications
• Utilize Applitools Eyes for visual testing and ensure the visual correctness of web applications
• Write and maintain Java-based test scripts and frameworks
• Collaborate with the development and QA teams to identify test requirements and develop comprehensive test plans
• Execute automated tests, troubleshoot failures, and report defects
• Continuously improve and optimize the automation framework
• Ensure proper integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in automation testing

Qualifications and Skills

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in automation testing with Cypress and Applitools Eyes
• Proficiency in JavaScript (and/or TypeScript)
• Experience with Angular framework
• Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
• Familiarity with various reporting tools to track and analyze test results
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Deep understanding of automation processes and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
