The Opportunity

Are you looking to build a career in Joint Ventures (JV) and contribute to impactful business outcomes? Do you have a talent for creating tools and managing budgets, coupled with a desire to learn the intricacies of JV operations? We are seeking a Joint Venture Professional to join our team. This role offers a unique combination of technical, analytical, and operational responsibilities to support our JV business.  

You will develop and maintain tools and processes to improve JV operations, ensure accurate budget stewardship and tracking, and take on a small portfolio of JV agreements. With opportunities to learn from experienced professionals, you will gain valuable insights into JV management while making meaningful contributions to the team.

What you will do

• Create, maintain, and improve tools to streamline JV workflows and enhance operational efficiency

• Build reporting dashboards and templates to track key metrics and provide actionable insights

• Identify and implement process improvements to support the JV team’s success

• Manage JV budgets by tracking expenditures, analyzing variances, preparing forecasts, and maintaining a detailed database linking contracts, production, and financial data

• Take on a small portfolio of operated and non-operated JV agreements

• Work closely with experienced JV representatives to gain mentorship and develop expertise

• Work on specific one off projects as needed  

What you will bring

• Five years of experience in a business, financial, or operational role; exposure to JV is an asset

• A Post-secondary education in business or a related field

• Demonstrated track record of strong analytical skills, including building dashboards

• Detail oriented with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and problem solve

• Exposure to SAP would be considered an asset
