The Role  

The Regional Vice President of Parking oversees and manages all parking operations within a designated geographic region. This executive role is responsible for driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and financial performance across multiple parking facilities. The Regional Vice President will collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute business plans, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, and implement best practices across the region. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement regional strategies to enhance parking operations, increase revenue, and improve customer satisfaction. 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence. 
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align regional goals with corporate objectives. 
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve operational performance. 
  • Manage budgets and financial performance for the region, including revenue growth, cost control, and profitability. 
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of regional managers, operations managers, and staff. 
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment through effective communication, training, and support. 
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement strategies for staff development and retention. 
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints, resolving issues, and implementing service improvements. 
  • Develop and enforce customer service standards and procedures to enhance the overall parking experience. 
  • Ensure all parking operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including ADA compliance and safety standards. 
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure facility and operational compliance. 
  • Develop and manage budgets for the region, including forecasting, financial analysis, and cost control. 
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. 
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote parking services and enhance brand presence. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, local government officials, and community organizations. 
  • Oversee the implementation and utilization of parking management technologies and systems. 
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements to leverage technology for operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Urban Planning, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in parking management, operations, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. 
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale operations and driving financial performance. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • In-depth knowledge of parking regulations, industry standards, and best practices. 
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting. 
  • Experience with parking management software and technology integration is a plus. 

Working Conditions: 

  • Frequent travel within the designated region. 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. 
  • Office and fieldwork environment, with occasional exposure to outdoor elements and parking facilities.
