Enrolled Nurse – Graduate Nurse Program
(Full Time and Part -Time positions available 0.8 FTE)
We are looking for remarkable Enrolled Nurses who are passionate about nursing to be part of the Mater Hospital Enrolled Nurse Graduate Program. The Program is for recently graduated Enrolled Nurses. Our program runs for 18 months and offers 3 rotations throughout the year.
We offer orientation to departments, regular protected teaching time, graduate study days, Individualised Learning Plans and have Educators and experienced staff to assist you throughout your program
About You
You must have completed TAFE Diploma in nursing; or are due to complete the same prior to the start date of the Mater Graduate Nurse Program
Must not be studying or commencing further study during the Graduate year
Meet all requirements and eligibility to apply for National Nursing Registration (APHRA)
Provide all required documentation as requested via the Mater Workday system
Provide documentation supporting Australian Residency status (i.e. proof of residency or citizenship)
Overseas students must have documented proof of English Language Test, or evidence of a booking for a test at the time of interview (if applicable)
Be able to undertake 18-month full time or part time employment
Display effective interpersonal skills and be able to build rapport with a diverse range of people
Be able to accept professional accountability for own actions
Be aware of own limitations
Have a strong ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and provide exceptional "Person Centred Care"
Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development

About The Mater:
In this role you will be based at the Mater hospital, North Sydney.
One of Sydney’s premier private hospitals.
Close by to train stations at North Sydney, St Leonards, and Crows Nest, and buses on Pacific Highway.
The only Australian hospital that is a member of the International Society of Orthopaedic Centres.
Core specialties include Obstetrics, Orthopaedics including hip and knee joint replacements, bone and sports injuries, cardiology, cancer care and surgery, lung and vascular medicine, ear, nose and throat surgery, urology, endocrine surgery, and neurosurgery.
