We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Product Owner to lead on the authentication Journeys in Digital channels. From ideation through to delivery the Digital team oversee all customer impacting changes on our Online and App Digital Banking Platforms.

In this high-profile role, you’ll have a great opportunity to shape the registration experience for over 7 million customers who use our digital channels with a view of assisting more customer to become & remain active on our digital channels.

The difference you’ll make:

  • Managing relationships with customers and stakeholders, understanding business requirements and developing appropriate interventions in order to deliver a high-quality integrated service to customers
  • Leading by example and proactively identifies, assess, manages and reports risks taking action where appropriate in order to remediate or escalate potential risks   
  • Developing the team through appropriate training, development and coaching and ensure that they perform and provide a consistent service   
  • Understanding customer needs and pain points, and proactively generates suggestions/solutions to continually improve our customer value proposition   
  • Liaising with business stakeholders to resolve any issues / queries and overcome any potential issues, communicating key conclusions to senior management   
  • Monitoring developments in relevant professional fields to input into the development of Santander Digital initiatives and practices within a given discipline in order to provide best practice solutions to the business

What you’ll bring:

These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:

  • Experience managing a Data Driven approach analysing high volume data, and using the data to find solutions
  • Experience of owning or managing complex and regulated experiences
  • Fluent in Agile methodology, theory and in practice
  • Extensive Product Owner delivery and experience

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • Product Owner Certification / Qualification or equivalent
  • Relevant Experience in Digital Product Management
  • Proven experience in building collaborative relationships utilising excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders
  • Well-developed problem solving, analytical, and presentation skills

What else you need to know:

This 24-month Fixed Term role is based in Unity Place – Milton Keynes.

To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).

As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs. For part-time / contract roles, your salary, bonus (where eligible) and certain benefits will be prorated to reflect your working hours / contract duration.

  • We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer.
  • 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year.
