Position Summary:
Responsible for supporting function for the S&OP process and ensures monthly development of S&OP business reporting and analysis. Collaborate with multiple cross functional teams, including DC Operations, Inventory Services, Finance, Sales and Merchandising to help coordinate monthly S&OP processes for each of the Business Units. Assist in generating & distributing periodic S&OP performance reports, while also assisting in the preparation and documentation of monthly vendor Collaborative Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment (CPFR) meetings.
This role offers a hybrid schedule at our headquarters in Byron Center, MI.
Here's what you'll do:
Assist in driving the weekly and monthly S&OP process by collaborating closely with the sales, procurement, finance, and logistics teams to address demand/supply changes and a rolling 3-12 month plan that aligns with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and future growth objectives
Build key processes and relationships that enhance demand forecasting, supplier performance, adherence to inventory and AOP plans, product lifecycle management, and operational capabilities.
Coordinate and Document the monthly S&OP meetings for SpartanNash to achieve the demand plan consensus including strategic, product, sales, and marketing activities as well as supply plan balance and constraints/gaps.
Ensure efficient communication across functional teams for any trends, drivers, and takeaways in a clear and concise manner
Provide Collaborative Planning Forecasting & Replenishment vendor meeting (CPFR) support to build content and drive supply chain activities with key vendors, helping to partner on meeting established fill rate and Cases on Time and Complete (COTC) goals
Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance or equivalent combination of experience and education required
1-3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, S&OP, S&OE, or CPFR preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to distill information into actionable, persuasive insights to communicate to individuals at all levels of the organization
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Ability to effectively organize, structure, prepare, and/or present data.
Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy and strong organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
