This Position reports to:

Global Sales Manager


 

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Sales organization and its customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions for the applied products and technology.

This is an on-site position based in our Quincy, MA office

This role is contributing to the EL District Sales team in Northeast District. Main stakeholders are District Sales manager and Area Sales Managers in support on local Account Managers .

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Offering technical advice and providing comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers regarding ABB’s products/systems/applications.

  • Providing technical support during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations.

  • Performing analytics and diagnostic studies to determine the most suitable technical solution to meet the customer needs; and proposing the most suitable technical solutions for complex enquiries.

  • Delivering product/solution/service-related training; and supporting the managers in preparing and validating the technical articles to publish.



Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college and 2 years of sales experience, OR High School diploma and 4 years of sales experience required.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry and ABB products preferred. Knowledge of industrial controls highly preferred.

  • Experience working with electrical contractors and channel partners preferred.

  • Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs

  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $57,400 and $91,840 annually.
