What you will do:

  • Direct daily activity to ensure productivity, safety and schedules are maintained
  • Review the workload and plan the correct sequence for the assembly, shipping and receiving of products
  • Ensure proper handling of products to ensure our customers receive quality merchandise
  • Provide direction and coaching
  • Create positive union relations
  • Performance management of colleagues while adhering to the Collective Agreement
  • Maintain integrity of inventory according to the inbound and outbound activity
  • Ensure the safety and security of the distribution centre
  • Support the Distribution Center in setting targets by participating in or leading performance improvement objectives
  • Establish and maintain high personal involvement, accessibility, and visibility to Distribution employees

What You’ll need:

  • 2 years of experience in a warehouse and/or supervisory role
  • Ability to build professional relationships and gain credibility with a diverse work force
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to use and access resources
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong ability to prioritize workload
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Able to work varied shifts including weekends
