Role summary
The Etten-Leur Parts Manufacturing Center (PMC) is looking for a Buyer that wants to be part of the Flowserve Campus. The main activities of the PMC department are Production and delivery of spare pump parts in line with customer specifications and delivery time, to other Flowserve sites & external customers.

This function focuses on operational tasks, with some tactical approaches, it includes the purchasing of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products to support the PMC Business. The items are procured daily, according to the specified quantities, within the required quality levels, on time and at the best price.

Your role

• Procurement of materials and components in line with the set requirements related to quantity, quality, price and required delivery date.

• Assure adequate delivery of materials and components to meet the company goals for On Time Delivery, financial and sales targets.

• Negotiate the best prices and commercial conditions to ensure best supply of components.

• Maintenance of purchasing data within the company’s ERP system.

• Continuously improve the efficiency of the procurement process within the facility and participate in projects of the EMA Supply Chain organization.

• Execute monthly performance and daily metrics reports, and initiate recovery plans to support PMC goals and prevent future delays.

• Evaluate supplier’s performances on KPI’s via Vendor Rating.

• Proactively identify and resolve any issues as well as coordination and problem solving for fulfilling contractual deliveries.

Your profile

• Good command of the English and Dutch language is mandatory

• Commercial mindset & result driven

• Strong negotiation skills

• Proficiency with Excel

• Purchasing experience is preferred

In addition to a competitive salary, you'll receive 8% holiday allowance and a 5% year-end bonus. You have 40 days off with a full-time contract (27+13 ADV).

Maximum 1 day working from home per week.
