We offer the chance to work with the brightest minds in the travel business in an energetic, dynamic and international work environment focused on innovation, creative problem-solving and collaboration.

Tripadvisor is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager (STAM) to join our Content Solutions business, operating like a high-growth startup within a globally recognized brand. This is a highly client-facing role that requires exceptional communication, relationship management, technical acumen, and cross-functional coordination skills. The position manages B2B partner relationships end-to-end—from implementation and onboarding through renewal and expansion—serving as a trusted advisor and technical liaison for publishers, marketplaces, and global travel brands.

As a Senior Technical Account Manager, you will provide best-in-class service and strategic support for partners leveraging our APIs, data feeds, and licensed content solutions. This includes overseeing the seamless delivery, implementation, troubleshooting, optimization, and ongoing adoption of products and integrations, while ensuring a high-quality partner experience that drives long-term success, retention, and growth.

Partnering closely with Business Development, you will support data revenue targets by ensuring flawless post-sale execution, identifying upsell opportunities, and executing the playbooks required to grow this DaaS (Data-as-a-Service) business line.

Location: United States, East Coast,  Remote or Hybrid (Needham MA or New York)

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the post-sale lifecycle for licensed data and content partners, driving successful technical onboarding, API integration, product adoption, and renewals.
  • Provide hands-on technical support, including API QA, troubleshooting data product issues, and guiding customers through complex implementations to ensure our data displays correctly.
  • Partner with Business Development to achieve shared revenue targets, identifying and executing on upsell and cross-sell opportunities to diversify data usage across partner platforms.
  • Design and operationalize repeatable playbooks, processes, and reporting frameworks to scale account management like a best-in-class SaaS/DaaS company.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Sales to translate enterprise customer insights into roadmap priorities and resolve technical roadblocks.
  • Build deep relationships with technical and commercial stakeholders to unlock further potential, ensuring Tripadvisor's API and data solutions are performing flawlessly.

Skills & Experiences:

  • 6–8 years of experience in technical account management, specifically with SaaS and DaaS (Data-as-a-Service) products.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making in day-to-day work.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively with a global-first mindset
  • Proven track record of managing enterprise accounts, driving adoption, renewals, and upsells by blending technical expertise with commercial acumen.
  • Strong technical proficiency with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and authentication standards (OAuth, API keys, SAML/SSO) from a customer-facing perspective.
  • Strong background in data analytics and reporting; skilled in SQL, BI platforms (e.g., Tableau), and CRM tools (Salesforce).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders (e.g., Product Managers, Engineers, Sales Leads).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable building structure in ambiguity and taking processes from zero to scale.
  • This is a remote US position requiring up to 10% travel (domestic and international).

In addition, the ideal candidate will demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Exhibits integrity through fair and ethical behavior toward others and a demonstrated sense of corporate responsibility and commitment.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams toward the common goal of driving revenue and efficiencies.
  • Positive attitude and treats colleagues with respect: considers and responds appropriately to the needs, feelings, and capabilities of different people.
  • Identifies and analyzes problems and is comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines; distinguishes between relevant and irrelevant information.
  • Acts as an owner navigating internal materials with little to no supervision; able to surface solutions in addition to questions.
  • Good business judgment when making decisions and always considers the relevance/impact of each decision on the broader business.
  • A desire to perform in a fast-paced, highly changing marketplace and be driven to meet and exceed expectations and demands.
