About the Role
Medical Imaging provides diagnostic and interventional imaging to both St Vincent’s public and private hospitals. The Medical Imaging Nurse works as part of the multidisciplinary to provide nursing care for these patients across all areas of the department including DSA, PET, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy and Nuclear Medicine.

Key duties:

  • Assist with medical and diagnostic procedures carried out in the unit, inclusive of CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, Digital Subtracted Angiography Suite, as well as MRI PET and recovery in both scrub or scout roles, as required
  • Document, observe and report relevant nursing findings within the framework of nursing progress


Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69,253.60 - $92,601.60 pro rata per annum). 

Your Contribution
• Previous Medical Imaging Experience

• Degree in general nursing which meets the registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
• Current Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) 

• Current National criminal history check or willing to obtain
