About the Role
HAS delivers mental health services to older adults with, or at risk of experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns via an Outreach Brief Intervention Model of Care. HAS is a prevention/early intervention service with a strong focus on Health Promotion.

  • Provide support and advocacy for clients and families within a Strengths based model of care.
  • Participate in community development activities including education of other professionals and consumer groups
  • Provide mental health specific duties including clinical triage, comprehensive mental health assessment, risk assessment and case management/ care planning.

Classifications for this role will range from:

  • OT/SW Grade 2 YB20 - YB23 or YC42 - YC45 ($88,030 - $101,197 per annum pro rata)
  • Psychologist Grade 2 PK1 - PK4 ($94,478- $106,906 per annum pro rata)


Your Contribution

  • Tertiary level qualification
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
  • Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
  • Experience in Mental Health

The Healthy Ageing Service (HAS) operates from a site in East Kew, working closely with the Aged Mental Health staff at St. George’s Health Service.
