Job Summary:

This position coordinates payment resolution on unpaid accounts in default. He/she is responsible for collaborating with consumers, insurance, and authorized third parties to discuss and resolve outstanding balances. Obtains and processes payments and collects, investigates, and analyzes missing information on unpaid accounts.

Key Position Details:

  • No Weekends
  • Remote position with initial training on-site (8a-5p)
  • Must Live Local
  • Days 8a-5p. (Monday or Tuesday will need to work until 6p)

Job Description:

Principle Responsibilities

  • Coordinates payment resolution on unpaid accounts in default.
    • Contacts and collaborates with consumers, insurance, and any authorized third party to discuss and resolve outstanding balances or create payment arrangements.
    • Obtains and processes payments.
    • Verifies payments and adjustment received and posted.
    • Collects, investigates, and analyzes missing information on unpaid accounts.
    • Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description, and High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Associate's or Vocational degree in business, healthcare or related field preferred
  • 2 to 5 years collections experience preferred
  • 2 to 5 years medical collections experience preferred
  • Collection Agency License within 30 Days preferred
