Job Description:

The Role: 

  • Develop and maintain processes, machine, and data for new HDPE drum production line in KSP 

  • Align the process and machine data of blow molding with other plants to establish the process flow and control standard for new HDPE drum production line in KSP 

  • Create SOP or work instruction and be responsible for the training of production team to handle the operation by following the SOP or WI 

  • The ideal candidate is a proven professional who is energized by fast-paced, high-profile projects and possesses both hands-on skills and process development capabilities. 

 

In this role you will: 

  • Develop and maintain processes, machine and data for new HDPE drum production line and/or injection molding process in KSP  

  • Have the profession to PE & PFA resin (including HDPE/ PFA/ LDPE…) characters and capable to apply the resin knowledge for the improvement to process and quality. 

  • Identify and enhance/develop processes for HDPE drum products 

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, routings, and safety reviews 

  • Manage key operating performance criteria, yield, performance analysis, FMEA and SPC controls 

  • Develop capital justifications within budget for equipment and technology that either improves or aids in the growth of the business 

  • Drive root cause analyses and corrective action plans through the six sigma tools, collaborating with quality, product engineering, manufacturing and sales/marketing 

  • Lead the technology transfer from new product development to manufacturing, ensuring manufacturing is launch ready in accordance with Marketing requirements 

  • Implement changes properly through V&Q and PCN process 

  • Identify and implement cycle time and yield enhancing activities 

  • Develop and maintain process documentation- operating procedures, test specs, test methods, component drawings 

  • Ability to travel globally 10% 

 

Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 

  • College graduated from Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related departments 

  • Working experience in the injection molding or blow molding industry for more than 3 years is a plus 

  • Own a Lean/Green Belt certification is preferred 

  • Experience with working in an ISO environment 

  • Must have basic computer skills and internet search skills 

  • Proficient in English communication
