Job Description
As a Reliability Operation Manager, you will be accountable for the vision and management of a team that is responsible for validating and qualifying Micron’s product to ensure best-in-class reliability. You will manage an industry-leading, highly technical, engineering team to define quality and reliability requirements, resolve reliability issues, and establish standards for qualification of new product technologies. The position requires knowledge of semiconductor component assembly and surface mount processes, knowledge of industry-standard qualification methods and requirements (e.g. JEDEC, AEC, IPC), and the ability to apply that knowledge to ensure the success of new product technologies. You are responsible for managing and optimizing departmental performance by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. You will develop high performing teams and improving individual capability through performance management systems. Leadership for building and implementing department strategies, processes, and policy through active oversight of functional teams and projects, and mentor functional leaders through collaboration and the development of sustainably successful solutions. As a Quality Reliability Operations Manager at Micron, you will be responsible to manage the Reliability scope and collaborate with Test MFG for Test readouts. Your responsibilities will include managing operations throughput, prioritizing reliability sampling requests, planning for capacity/resource requirement to support the operations, coordinating with area planners for shared resources and running operations. You will work closely with various engineering teams to plan and meet reliability sampling for quals, monitoring and SWR. You will also be communicating with PE and QA/product coordinators on product disposition decisions to support the QA hold release.
