Clinical Nurse Manager(Assistant Manager) – 10am to 6pm - Hemotherapy Center & Hemodialysis - Columbia University Irving Medical Center

The Assistant Manager/Clinical Nurse Manager facilitates efficient and cost-effective daily operations of the unit in relation to patient throughput including but limited to admissions, discharges and transfers; promotes a culture of safety and quality in the implementation of established standards, protocols, policies and procedures.  In collaboration with the Patient Care Director, Assistant Manager/Clinical Nurse Manager participates in the establishment of unit(s) short and long term goals and ensures its alignment with the hospital’s overall strategic goals; accountable for monitoring staff compliance with regulatory, hospital and divisional requirements.

The Assistant Manager/Clinical Nurse Manager will oversee the Inpatient Hemodialysis unit, Outpatient Hemodialysis, Apheresis unit and Dialysis unit at the Allen location.

 

This is a full time position between 10 am and 6pm, Monday to Friday at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center and occasionally at Allen Hospital.

 

Preferred Criteria:

Some charge nurse experience is ideal

Apheresis RN experience is preferred

Current ACLS & PALS is preferred

 

Required Criteria:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Current Registered Nurse license in New York

At least 2 years of clinical RN experience in Dialysis

Current BLS is required.

Salary Range:

$130,000-$155,000/Annual
