JOB OVERVIEW
The Terminal Manager oversees all operations at the bulk liquid storage terminal, ensuring the safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant handling, storage, and transfer of liquid commodities. This role is responsible for managing personnel, maintaining facility integrity, coordinating logistics, and implementing operational best practices to support customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance. The Terminal Manager plays a key leadership role in driving safety culture, optimizing throughput, and ensuring the terminal operates at peak performance while protecting people, assets, and the environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Lead, direct, and manage terminal operations, maintenance and shipping and receiving. Quickly assess issues and be decisive in solving them, such as identifying improvement opportunities in the process to ensure objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Working Conditions and Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the individual is often exposed to a variety of weather conditions, including extreme rain and heat/cold, noise, fumes, grease, oil, noxious odors, cleaning chemicals, paints, glues, and solvents. Approximately 30% of the workday is outdoors.
Physical Requirements/Activities: This position involves standing, bending, stooping, walking, and climbing. Frequently, the employee is required to kneel, bend, crawl, crouch, push, pull, lift, or twist. The Employee must be able to correctly wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators and full chemical suits. Must be clean-shaven where the respirator seals to ensure proper fit and protection, under OSHA standards. Must be able to wear and work in a full-body chemical protective suit for extended periods, which may include gloves, boots, and face shields. Must be able to maintain fingernail length at a level that does not interfere with safe equipment handling or hygiene protocols. Occasionally, the employee is required to lift or exert force of more than 50 pounds. Frequently, the employee is required to lift or exert force of up to 25 pounds. Must be able to climb and work on top of bulk liquid tanks ranging in height from 4 – 60 feet. Specific vision ability required is close vision of 20 inches or less and vision ability of greater than 3 feet.
