Description:
This is a full-time hybrid role for Fiduciary Technical Accountant based in Mexico City, Mexico. The role involves managing financial statements, working in accounting, premium and claim processing and collections, applying finance and analytical skills. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial and claims-related processes. While the role is primarily office-based, some work-from-home days are flexible.
We will count on you to:
Analyzes outstanding fiduciary balances and provides senior team leaders with necessary documentation, history of resolution actions and recommendations for securing collection.
Oversees the day-to-day collection and remittance process and ensures workflow minimizes exposure and meets defined payment, reporting, reconciliation and compliance requirements.
Meets with new Market /Client accounts to establish payment and collection practices, targets, deadlines and performance measures within the context of established standards and protocols. Elevates complex or unusual requests to senior leadership.
Collaborates with brokers, clients, markets and team to maintain best in practice processes and drive growth; communicates up and down to leverage new process improvement ideas.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1 to 2 years of experience performing reconciliations and payment applications in the insurance area
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced database management (experience with Power BI desirable)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong attention to detail in task completion.
