What impact you’ll make: 

As a member of the Gas Power Supply Chain Controllership team, you will be an active contributor to the accomplishment of supply chain controllership priorities, supporting accounting and policy compliance, process simplification, and provide support to deliver accurate financial results through coordination with multiple finance leaders across the network on relevant controllership matters. 

Job Description:  

What you’ll do :

  • Serve as a key controllership partner to the Gas Power Supply Chain organization within the governance framework established by the Supply Chain Controller.
  • Support Gas Power balance sheet governance activities, including deep dives and reviews, with primary focus on:
    • Property, Plant & Equipment (PPE)
    • Inventory
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Prepare and present Supply Chain balance sheet review packages for Supply Chain Finance leadership; coordinate inputs and follow‑ups with cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Inventory FP&A team to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent data inputs for Gas Power balance sheet reviews with the Gas Power Controller.
  • Support inventory‑related controllership initiatives across the supply chain in collaboration with the Assistant Supply Chain Controller.
  • Act as a liaison with Supply Chain Operations Finance (SCOF) on key controllership topics, including reconciliations, close activities, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor account reconciliation metrics for assigned legal entities and process areas; support operational controllership activities such as edit checks and close quality reviews.
  • Perform and support internal GRNI analysis during close cycles, driving appropriate accounting reclassifications and process improvements.
  • Coordinate annual and semi‑annual Capitalized Inventory in Process (CIP) assessments, including evaluation of aging and impairment risk.
  • Support GAAP compliance and internal control audits in relevant process areas, primarily PPE and Inventory, in alignment with Supply Chain Controllership requirements.

  • Provide audit support, including preparation of documentation and response to data requests from external auditors (Deloitte).
  • Identify, support, and execute process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, controls, and financial transparency within Supply Chain Controllership

    Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Accounting or Finance from an Accredited University.
  • Significant professional experience in accounting, audit, controllership, or financial governance.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks.
  • Experience working with financial systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis and interpret balance sheet and reconciliation data.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).
  • Desired Characteristics

  • Solid understanding of the Gas Power business or a comparable industrial or manufacturing business model.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and operate effectively in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial topics clearly and concisely.
  • Proven capability to identify risks, evaluate controls, and support remediation actions.
  • Experience with SAP or other large ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and collaborate across finance and operational teams.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with strong attention to detail and execution discipline.
  • Preference may be given to current Gas Power Finance employees.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $95,300.00 and $158,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
