Hours:

2nd Shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Pay:

$22.24 + $2.00 shift differential = $24.24

 

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with Exmark, you will be responsible for: 

  • This individual will be working with loading/unloading weldments for our robotic welders
  • Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand 
  • Selects appropriate weld jig, positions and secures piece parts in weld jig by loading parts by hand or by hoist 
  • Performs MIG tack welds and seam welds based on project needs 
  • Sets up welding cells for production runs 
  • Buff and inspect welded surfaces to insure quality standards are met 
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, regulations, and active participation in all 5S efforts and initiatives 
  • Perform daily maintenance tasks on fixtures including but not limited to running robot through torch alignment, clean fixtures, change weld consumables (tips, nozzles, diffusers) 
  • Strives to meet all established safety, quality, cost, and productivity standards  
  • Continually seeks to improve production methods, equipment performance and overall quality of product 
  • Ability to learn a variety of different product lines 
  • Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved 
  • Willingly performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Some technical knowledge and ability to follow standard work and procedures 
  • Ability and experience in using a variety of different welders and demonstrated welding techniques 
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) 
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly; 25 pounds frequently; 40 pounds occasionally
