The role of the O2C/P2P Analyst is to support the P2P and O2C SDL in regard to O2C and P2P processes, operational related matters, KPI and stakeholder communications, both internal and external. This individual will primarily be responsible for tasks and issues related to Japan market.
This role requires ability to perform daily and business communications (read, speak, write) in both Japanese and English language along with knowledge in Microsoft applications (primarily Powerpoint, Excel, etc) and optional basic to intermediate knowledge in O2C/P2P knowledge in terms of processes and SAP system.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
Support communication activities pertaining O2C & P2P processes to Japan market stakeholders, including towards operational team and local business partners.
Preparing and analysing O2C and P2P KPI results and deliverables, along with identifying key action plans for KPI delivery and KPI improvement.
Monitor day-to-day O2C and P2P operation for Japan market to identify the process gaps, operational pain points and process optimisation opportunities.
Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for other teams including strengthening GSK Operation Team’s knowledge with good understanding of P2P systems and process to support issue resolution.
Keep invoice workflow management under healthy control via working closely with GSK Operation Team, business users, Service Delivery Lead, Competency Center, IT etc to ensure invoice workflow is resolve at accurately and timely manner.
Escalate process/systems exceptions and ongoing systems issues to Service Delivery Lead, Operation Performance Lead, FRMC and/or GPO etc, to make sure it will be addressed and resolved in a timely manner, on both interim and long-term solution perspective.
Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for other teams including strengthening GSK Operation Team’s knowledge with good understanding of O2C & P2P systems and process to support issue resolution.
Supporting Service Delivery Lead to- resolve customer issues escalated by the business, including provide detailed documentation, action plans to avoid recurrences and propose any changes needed in current ways of working. Reviewing process documents and providing trainings when necessary.
Build network and engaging with customer on O2C & P2P performance process challenges and improve awareness on P2P E2E Support Model. Bring business users challenges observation to relevant parties for their support on improving customer experience / support model.
Participate ad hoc discussion including generate O2C & P2P related reports for analysis upon request.
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Japanese Language (JLPT N1 or N2 Holder or equivalent)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / qualification with >3 years of post-qualification experience or post degree
SAP Proficiency
Microsoft skills (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
Experience of working in a Shared Service Centre
Agile and adaptability
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Excellent analytical skills to be able to identify and resolve problems along with ability to cope with steep learning curve.
Excellent communication skills and knowledge in Japanese business culture and cultural nuances.
Ability to work in culturally diverse teams (in KL) and reconcile cultural differences (between Japan market and APAC/Global) to successfully deliver services (Local Market, BPO, Functional team, GPO etc)
