Job Purpose:

As an Event and Government Affairs Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our Ahead Together strategy by ensuring seamless coordination of events and government processes. Key Responsibilities:

Government Affairs Coordination

  • Manage and process employee visas, including residence permits, exit and re-entry permits, and final exits.
  • Obtain, renew, and track required permits and licenses, such as Chamber of Commerce registration and Civil Defense certifications.
  • Certify company and employee documents through relevant government platforms.
  • Stay informed about legal and regulatory updates, proactively communicating changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Secure business visit visas for international visitors.
  • Maintain and manage employee licenses, including MOH and SOCPA certifications.

Event Planning and Management

  • Lead the planning and execution of events, including negotiating contracts with vendors such as hotels and travel agencies.
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure event details, timelines, and payment processes are managed efficiently.
  • Secure government approvals for medical conferences and other relevant events.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and archives for all events.
  • Review and validate invoices, ensuring timely submission for payment processing.

Qualifications/Experience:

Basic Qualifications 

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Saudi National.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in event management and/or government relations.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with government officials, vendors, and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with government portals and processes.
  • Understanding of hotel or event operations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
