Key Responsibilities

• Application Monitoring & Incident Management: Implement and optimize observability practices using Splunk, CloudWatch, Honeycomb, and Datadog
• Proactively monitor performance and triage production issues across UI (Angular), backend (Spring Boot), and AWS cloud infrastructure
• Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Perform deep-dive failure analysis using logs and dashboards.  Collaborate with developers to deliver hotfixes and long-term stability solutions
• Deployment & Release Engineering: Support CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.  Validate releases in staging and production, ensuring rollback strategies are in place
• Cloud Infrastructure Operations: Manage and optimize AWS services (ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, IAM). Drive cost-efficiency initiatives like right-sizing and serverless adoption
• Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices and compliance standards. Support audits and implement controls for sensitive data
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.  Lead knowledge transfer sessions and foster team learning

Qualifications

Strong experience in Angular (v8+), Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs

Proficiency in AWS services and cloud-native operations

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform)

Expertise in monitoring/logging tools: Splunk, CloudWatch, Datadog

Solid understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, ECS)

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Education & Experience

Minimum 5–8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in development

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s preferred
