What you will do:
- Coordinate dimensional inspection requests from divisions and external suppliers, ensuring alignment with local capabilities.
- Operate various lab equipment including CMM Machine, VMM Machine, Contour Tracer3D Scanner, and Harness Tester.
- Coordinate design, development, and implementation of complex CMM programs.
- Conduct Measurement System Analysis, CMM Inspection, and Layout Inspection of Parts.
- Identify and assess technical capabilities of new suppliers.
- Coordinate with stakeholders for smooth execution of inspection requests at supplier's end.
- Facilitate technical discussions and finalize quality and timeline commitments with external suppliers.
- Interpret technical requirements and liaise with external suppliers accordingly.
- Perform incoming inspection of samples, prototypes, and items from external suppliers or divisional teams.
- Generate reports on KPIs related to outsourcing activity.
- Develop procedures, guidelines, and SOPs as necessary.
- Adapt to work individually or as part of a team.
- Stay updated on metrology technology to meet technical device roadmaps.
- Develop and update Work Instructions for Metrology Lab according to standards (ISO17025, ISO13485)
What you will need:
- Bachelor's/master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
