PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The primary focus will be to assist the Director, Specialty Leasing Financial Reporting & Operations on the day-to-day functions and reports to ensure maximum production and achieve desired objectives. This individual will assist in the development, maintenance, and analysis of all Specialty Leasing Reporting as determined by the Director, SL Financial Reporting & Operations and work closely with the SVP New Business Development on all required reports, analysis and operations related to the National Accounts Specialty Leasing team.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Develop and Maintenance of the National Deal Making Reports to include by not limited to:
    • National Anaplan WAP Report
    • National Forecast Report
    • National JDE Audit vs WAP Report
    • National Retailer Sales Report
    • Rent Report per Center/Space for Booked, Forecasted, Budgeted
    • Vacant Space Report for all Centers/Spaces
    • National Accounts 90 Day Renewal Report
    • National Accounts AR Report
    • National Accounts Agent Listing Report
  • Gathering and creation of national tenant proposals.
  • Liaison between Specialty Leasing and Lease Services.
  • Work closely with Tenant Coordination and Mall staff to ensure national deals are compliant with leasing requirements specific to the locations leased.
  • Work closely with Legal on all lease language changes, addendums and other duties as required to ensure lease documents get executed. 
  • Identify and compile market trends, changes in demographics, consumer buying, etc. to enhance leasing efforts and minimize risk to the Specialty Leasing Income.
  • Identify and compile concept trends, specific to Specialty Leasing, to target certain brands and concepts for placement within appropriate markets and centers.
  • Creation and maintenance of National Deal Making Instagram page and to drive social media canvasing efforts at the national level.
  • Identify National trade shows for National Deal Making team to attend.
  • Cross trained on Anaplan, Salesforce, Yardi and Cad and provide backup when needed.

PREFERRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.S Degree in Finance, Business or Accounting; MBA, CPA or other relevant professional designations a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical background including knowledge of financial analysis techniques such as net present value, internal rate of return, etc.
  • Experience with accounting/planning applications preferred (JD Edwards, Anaplan, etc.)
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Ability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels and from all departments within the company.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
