Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet the required specifications and quality standards. The engineer actively oversees the progress of the development lifecycle, ensuring that the applications are built efficiently and effectively to support organizational goals. Problem-solving and decision-making are integral parts of the daily routine, along with continuous collaboration to align the project with business needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of application development activities to meet project timelines.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and project understanding.
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and resolve any technical challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Network Infrastructures, Palo Alto Networks Firewalls, Fortinet FortiGate Firewall.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Zscaler Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of network security principles and firewall management.
- Ability to design and implement scalable network solutions.
- Experience troubleshooting complex network infrastructure issues.
- Familiarity with configuring and maintaining enterprise-grade firewall systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Network Infrastructures.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
