Our Campus Recruiting team is currently seeking a Recruiting Manager to spearhead our campus and early career hiring efforts for our Leadership Development Program (LDP).  LDP develops our early leadership pipeline across our competitive and growing operational business units (Sales, Service, Claims, Commercial, Specialty, Auto Damage and other growing units). In this role, you will partner with Business Leaders, Program Managers, and HR Leaders to promote the GEICO employment brand, drive top talent to GEICO through innovative recruitment strategies, and assess and hire talent for open roles.

Responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Collaborating with HR leadership and business stakeholders to identify current and future early talent needs across operational business units
  • Leveraging industry expertise and knowledge of the early careers recruiting landscape to develop and execute recruitment strategies to generate a high quality, diverse applicant pool and meet aggressive hiring goals
  • Seeking out innovative opportunities and fostering relationships at universities and in school-agnostic channels to positively build the GEICO employment brand as a destination for top talent
  • Analyzing recruiting data to develop and track hiring metrics and adjust recruitment efforts as needed to meet hiring goals
  • Partnering with business stakeholders, program managers, and HR leaders to create a candidate selection process that results in high quality hiring decisions and an exceptional candidate experience
  • Assessing candidate qualifications, screening candidates, maintaining engagement through the recruitment process, extending verbal and written offers, and driving offer conversion
  • Maintaining compliance with and being a champion for EEO laws related to the recruitment process when developing recruitment strategies and representing GEICO
  • Leading a team of Recruiters and Recruiting Coordinator(s) in driving top talent to the LDP by managing req load distribution, directing the execution of recruiting and sourcing strategies, and overseeing candidate selection
  • Engaging, managing, developing, and assessing performance for a team of Recruiters and Recruiting Coordinator(s)
  • Owning or assisting with additional team recruitment efforts as needed
  • Leading and/or participating in special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or military experience
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources, roles focused on talent recruitment or development, or higher education
  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a minimum of one year managing a corporate talent acquisition team
  • 2+ years of experience on a team focused on early talent recruitment (Campus)
  • Experience sourcing from or supervising recruiters in early talent sourcing platforms, such as Handshake or LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience working in an applicant tracking system
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule, including travel to universities or recruiting events up to 50% during peak season

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven success building and developing a team of early talent recruiters
  • Advanced knowledge of the campus recruiting landscape and experience developing event strategies and innovative approaches to attracting early talent to corporate or call center opportunities
  • Comfort analyzing recruiting data and drawing insights
  • Preference for candidates who can work hybrid from our Houston, TX or Dallas, TX; offices. Lakeland, FL; or Tucson, AZ offices, with other locations considered as needed
