The eDiscovery & Forensic Lab’s Development and Engineering team that sits within Walmart Global Tech’s Information Security Division is dedicated to maintaining a secure operating environment and preserving the trust of our customers, associates, and stakeholders. Our focus is on providing support to the eDiscovery and Forensics Lab- an ANAB accredited lab- whose mission is to support our business partners in the identification, collection, and preservation of electronically stored information related to litigation and investigative matters.
The eDiscovery & Forensic Lab’s Development and Engineering team develops and supports the products that help secure the largest retailer on Earth. We use cutting edge technology to create products that solve the complex and ever-changing challenges faced by the Lab team and its customers within Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and 6 years' experience in information technology or related field within the last 10 years OR 8 years' experience in information technology or related field within the last 10 years.Outlined below are the optional preferred qualifications for this position. Advanced data recovery techniques (for example, hard drive recovery, mobile device data recovery), American Society of Crime Lab Directors (ASCLD) procedures and policies, Certification in computer forensic tools or eDiscovery processes, including but not limited to Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), EnCase Certified eDiscovery Practitioner (EnCEP), Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE), Association of Certified eDiscovery Specialists (ACEDS), GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), Guaranteed Forensic Authenticator (GFA), and/or GIAC Legal certification (GLEG), Computer facilitated crimes in government and/or private sector fields., Courtroom testimony experience related to computer forensics or eDiscovery, Creating and presenting technical strategies and technical solution recommendations, Designing and implementing technical solutions for information security, eDiscovery and/or investigations, eDiscovery methodology and industry best practices, eDiscovery related litigation support tools, Firewall rules and filtering, intrusion detection and/or prevention devices, or penetration testing for networks and standalone devices, Hardware assembly, maintenance, or support, Installation, repair and troubleshooting of computer hardware for desktop computers, laptops and servers, Integrating new technologies into existing technology portfolio, Managing cross-functional teams providing support through the project lifecycle, Network infrastructure and/or architecture security, Physical and/or digital evidence handling and documentation consistent with courtroom best evidence rules and American Society of Crime Lab Directors (ASCLD) requirements, Programming Languages, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
