The Opportunity:

Medcan is recruiting for a Part-Time X-Ray Technologist/Radiographer/MRT to join our growing high-performance clinical team.

What You'll Do:

  • Patient preparation for and performance of X-ray and Bone Density scans following the required guidelines for the procedures.

  • Record and process patient data

  • Operate equipment, and perform and document basic quality control checks on equipment

  • Maintain radiographic equipment

  • Update, file and maintain client information

  • Review of written reports and discussion with physicians and radiologists

What You'll Need:

  • Certification with the CMRITO and General Radiography experience

  • Superior organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient in MS Word and Outlook

  • Superior patient care and customer service skills

  • Bone Density experience not required, but preferred

  • OAR CBMD accreditation is an asset

This is a casual role scheduled primarily on Saturdays, with a minimum requirement of two Saturday shifts per month, along with occasional weekday evening coverage as needed (3:00–7:00 p.m. or 4:00–7:00 p.m.). Shifts are 8.5 hours in length and scheduled within regular business hours, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Our Downtown Toronto clinic is conveniently located at 150 York St. (York and Adelaide) which is nearby St. Andrew and King subway stations or a 10-minute walk from Union Station!

Position Pay Range

$35.43 - $48.72 CAD per hour

Pay will be determined based on an analysis of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications within the role's compensation grade. Medcan's compensation ranges are determined by a combination of required qualifications and skills, market value, and internal equity. The above range pertains solely to the base compensation and is not inclusive of additional compensation details such as perks, benefits, and potential bonuses or incentives. ​
