We’re looking for a highly skilled full stack engineer to help us make this vision a reality. We are building first-in-class web applications that will drive research and decision-making in drug discovery and elsewhere; this role will be a main contributor and owner in that space and work in conjunction with Product/UX, AI/ML engineering, Platform engineering, and stakeholders to deliver AI/MLpowered data and insights to end users in these key business areas.
Ideal candidates will have a solid track record of designing, developing, and delivering high-quality, well-documented, and thoroughly tested front-end applications, preferably within the Life Sciences and/or data science sector. Proficiency in innovative front-end technologies such as React, Vue.js, or Angular as well as front-end application frameworks such as Node.js is required. Candidates should have years of experience working on cloud application stacks including development, deployment, and support—proficiency in Google Cloud Platform is preferred. Experience and aptitude in backend development tasks such as data modeling, API development, and DevOps will be strong differentiators. Experience with data visualization libraries such as D3.js or Chart.js is also desirable.
Candidates should be prepared to stay updated and adapt to the rapidly evolving landscape of front-end development in AI/ML applications. Strong candidates will have either pursued graduate studies in Computer Science or possess equivalent professional experience. An educational or professional background in the biological sciences is a plus, but not necessary. The annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $130,900 to $177,100 taking into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role.
