Requirements

  • Graduate of bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology
  • At least 5 years of professional programming experience
  • Experience working in a Semiconductor company and tester systems
  • Experience in developing under Windows and UNIX
  • Experience in using SQL on a widely used database platform (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL)
  • Experience in Shell Scripting, Perl, VB6, .NET, C/C++, Java, PHP or other programming languages required by the team
  • Experience in XML, web services and other web technologies
  • Experience in project documentation
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Self-driven, engaged, highly motivated team player

 

Responsibilities

  • Design, code, and test software that will integrate/interface various systems and applications to the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and/or to other manufacturing applications, in coordination with stakeholders
  • Provide support (troubleshooting, bug fixing, consulting, periodic maintenance) to deployed systems
  • Provide support to application end-users during office hours or even during off-hours and week-ends in cases of emergencies
  • Follow team mandated Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process
  • Be the primary owner of several existing and to-be-developed applications in terms of code, user base, enhancements and support
  • Responsible for making medium to large sized system enhancements or integration with other systems
  • Provide systems training to trainers and end-users
  • Ensure that the company's commitment on environmental management, health and safety is observed and performed
  • Be aware of and apply the company's quality and environmental policies
