About Team:
This role is part of the Walmart Product team (see description below) with a specific focus on building products for Walmart e-commerce. Your mission is to drive innovation in Walmart Marketplace.
As a Staff Product Manager on the team, you will collaborate with multiple functions including engineering, business and Sellers operations across geographies. You will work closely with key stakeholders on the merchandising side and drive the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution product strategy.
You will work on building the next generation marketplace platform serving all Walmart e-commerce across US and beyond. The goal would be to study and drive Seller productivity, Improve experience & usability with adoption of product offerings.
Define and lead the vision and strategy for Walmart Seller Mobile app, provide product thought leadership in identifying critical customer requirements, understand business goals, define product end state, and work with development teams in designing optimal experience
Work closely with architects and engineers to design scalable solutions while ensuring a frictionless user experience
Drive the product strategy and vision, focusing on delivering an excellent user experience.
Conduct extensive user research to understand customer needs, behaviours, and motivations.
Collaborate with the product team to define product requirements and specifications.
Develop and manage user experience roadmap, including prioritizing features and product enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.
Coordinate with the design and development teams to ensure that product designs are user-centric and technically feasible.
Run usability tests and perform data analysis to evaluate the product's performance and identify areas for improvement.
Define and monitor key performance indicators to track and optimize product performance.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders about the product's progress, challenges, and successes.
Work closely with the different business offering teams to understand the requirements, priorities, and drive towards a common goal
Develop external & internal market analysis and fitment
Do in-depth Build, buy, partner analysis, monetization, open-sourcing, & adoption strategies
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects
Ensures business needs are being met
Manage & drive partner roadmap relationships
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates
Supports product implementation and deployment
Some Retail/e-commerce domain knowledge
Proven experience with Mobile app based products as a Product Manager
Ability to organize and prioritize work, establish realistic goals and deadlines and manage changing priorities
Proficient in design software (e.g. UXPin, Balsamiq) and product management tools.
Ability to achieve goals in an innovative environment and to evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to analysis products and process drive improvements aligned with strategic goals
Creative/Strategic thinking skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple product areas and initiatives
Build strong business partnership with key stakeholders
Ability to explain the business and technical value of a technical offering to an audience mix of technical and non-technical customer representatives
Good academic record with Computer Science or Engineering background; prefer a top tier MBA
10+ years of Industry experience, focused on solving data & analytics challenges with minimum 4 years of product management experience; Product management experience of building mobile apps is mandatory. Prefer some e-commerce or retail experience
E-Commerce software evangelist
Strong product management experience in managing customer engagement platforms, proven experience in building data products to solve critical business problems considering user at the center stage
Must have experience working with and influencing partner roadmap
Solid understanding of how to build & market platform solutions in cloud
Proven experience leading products from concept through sales or user adoption
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good experience of working with globally distributed teams in a collaborative and productive manner
