Position Summary
We are looking for you - dynamic, best-in-class talent - to join the Interactive Avenues as an Account lead. This role is responsible for and performing many critical functions within the E-Commerce team. These tasks include, but are not limited to, keyword/copy creation, billing, trafficking and Q/A, as well as developing, optimizing, and maintaining e-commerce campaigns. This opportunity will provide a platform to partner with the world’s leading consumer brands.
Key Responsibility Area
Client Ownership and Growth
- Lead client workstreams and conversations effectively as part of wider client projects
- Effectively and confidently communicate with clients and internal teams, delivering eCommerce analysis, insight, and strategy coherently to an audience with a broad eCommerce understanding.
- Be able to identify key growth opportunities for the client, and formulate the steps needed to get them set up for eCommerce success.
New Business Development
- Be able to identify Cross Sell & Upsell opportunities for agency with existing set of accounts with in the IPG portfolio.
- To be able to lead key business pitches and identify opportunities in the market.
eCommerce Analysis
- Construct and lead eCommerce DTC & Marketplace audits and analysis, working with multiple quantitative and qualitative data sources.
- Be able to confidently and accurately analyse multiple data sources, drawing key insights and messages within the context of the client.
- Be proficient in Biddable platforms, able to interpret and manipulate the data efficiently and effectively to identify key themes for the client.
- Demonstrate expertise in UX CX for eCommerce sites, and confident in identifying key improvement areas on a website.
- Platform Audits: Identify opportunities based on deep data analysis using a wide range of site and content analysis tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Alexa, etc.) and where a client has an omnichannel approach and presence on marketplaces, Amazon tools (IDQ, ARAP, Vendor Central, AAP), along with other external sources (Nielsen, GfK, etc.) and external partners. Provide recommendations to improve sales & margin, through effective retail & marketing planning.
- Setting up for success: highlight the most relevant KPIs for each client and be able to proficiently explain the reasons why these are best suited for their eCommerce growth aims.
Support eCommerce Leadership:
- Contribute to build a successful eCommerce strategy and consulting team and support to develop a profitable business pipeline to grow eCommerce across the group, by auditing your current client base and their short-, mid- and long-term growth opportunities.
- Uncover/understand client objectives, challenges and needs in order to actively participate in long range strategic planning for client’s end to end eCommerce retail strategy and media excellence.
- Demonstrate thought leadership with clients by developing and presenting client industry/market research findings, eCommerce trends, growth areas, new models to consider.

- Ability to juggle priorities and communicate clearly to senior level stakeholders across the client organization.
Qualifications:
- Experience in eCommerce, eCommerce Key Account Management and eCommerce strategy at either leading marketplace or a digital agency, consulting firm.
- Previous strategy / management consulting experience, working closely with a client base.
- Highly proficient in eCommerce data analysis using, Vendor Central, Amazon Pi, Google Analytics and other related platforms e.g. Google Search Console
- Strong knowledge of key principles of UX CX analysis and CRO
- Strong Excel skills, able to interpret, manipulate and analyse multiple data sources at once to draw key themes.
- Experience in eCommerce portfolio strategy plans and budget to achieve goals.
- Experience in data analysis, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, marketing consulting, and supply chain
- Knowledge of key Marketplace SEO principles and PDP craft
- Experience on Amazon Vendor Central, Seller Central is preferred.
- Enjoy educating clients about how optimizing their marketplace & brand.com site can drive eCommerce efforts.
- Possess general knowledge of direct and brand marketing principles and strategies.
- Have polished presentation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Have an adaptive style in being able to communicate often technical ideas in simple terms.
- Have strong organizational skills, being able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Experience working in primary E Commerce platforms (Flipkart, Amazon, Big basket, 1 mg, Gofer etc.) and able to perform daily management and other biddable platforms for clients.
- Be up to date with search engine and biddable industry trends and developments.
- Monitor web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools.
- Understanding of at least one bidding platform such as Marin, Kenshoo or Double-click
