Summary:
In this role, you will work with defined food distribution partners to maximize member participation and sustain programmatic success. You will develop and maintain a sales pipeline and implementation project plans within Salesforce to track progress and performance.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with operations to facilitate membership enrollment (mass enrollment process, roster review, etc).
Follow up on identified opportunities and coordinate with operations to complete successful implementations including completion of pertinent paperwork and processes.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with relevant stakeholders, key suppliers, and assigned distributor (executives, sales leadership, field sales, and operations).
Present market basket/cost studies to prospective accounts alongside assigned distributor to help win new business opportunities.
Attend key meetings with assigned distributor such as business reviews, trade shows, and regional sales meetings.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
2 or more years of relevant experience required.
Experience in account management or sales environment required.
Familiarity with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and background in food/hospitality sales in the non-acute market is preferred.
Demonstrated ability meeting sales goals.
Strong analytical, presentation, and strategic thinking skills.
Proficient in Excel. Salesforce experience is a plus.
Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $127,600.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
