Position Summary...

Ever wondered what would a convergence of online and offline advertising systems looks like? Ever wondered how we can bridge the gap between sponsored search, display, video ad formats? Ever thought how we can write our own ad servers which serve billions of requests in near real time?

Our Advertising Technology team is building an end-to-end advertising platform that is key to Walmart’s overall growth strategy. We use cutting edge machine learning, data mining and optimization algorithms to ingest, model and analyze Walmart’s proprietary online and in-store data, encompassing 95% of American households. Importantly, we build smart data systems that deliver relevant retail ads and experiences that connect our customers with the brands and products they love.


What you'll do –

  • Hands on coding skills with APEX, building custom Lightning components, integrating external systems to Sales and Marketing Clouds with Restful Services and SOAP based Webservices, Visualforce

  • Create and support declarative solutions (workflow, process builder, validation rules) using best practices methodologies in both Sales and Marketing Cloud

  • Ability to design for complex security requirements. Must have a solid understanding of Roles, Profile, and Sharing Settings in both Sales and Marketing Cloud

  • Develop comprehensive configuration / customization designs, use cases, test conditions, and training documentation to support the successful implementation of initiatives and processes.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field.

  • 4+ years of Salesforce platform experience (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, General Configuration, etc...)

  • Experience in systems design, algorithms, and distributed systems.

  • Experience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud products, including Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Journey Builder. Ad Studio, Audience Studio, Interaction Studio

  • Marketing Cloud experience should include Data modeling and Architecture skills needed to connect SFMC with external systems

  • Should have working knowledge of Rest and SOAP API modeling and usage for integrations with other systems.

  • 4+ years of Force.com development experience (APEX, Visualforce, Portals / Communities)

  • Must work independently in complex fast paced environment to ensure quality and timeliness of system information.

  • Deep understanding with technical capabilities of Visual Force, APEX APIs, APEX Triggers, and APEX Web services.

  • Take complex client and vendor concepts and articulate them to audiences of varying perception levels.

  • Experience in designing and building cloud apps

  • Ability to create solution design documentation that supports the business requirements and business processes, which may include: Data Model, Object & Field Definition, Wireframes, and more.

  • Excellent written, verbal presentation and organizational skills, ability to interface with all levels and business units.

  • Any Salesforce.com Certifications (Consultant / Developer /Architect) in Sales and Marketing Cloud

  • Design, develop and implement Salesforce CPQ solutions to enhance business processes.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Configure, maintain, and update Salesforce CPQ software as necessary.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce CPQ, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.

  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and user training materials.

  • Keep up-to-date with Salesforce releases and suggest new features and improvements.
