Job Summary:

THE JOB

The VP, Recruiting is a dual role with the responsibility to be the principal executive headhunter while also leading Live Nation's central recruiting/sourcing function. Day-to-day, they are delivering diverse candidate slates for top level leadership/executive positions and providing strategic direction for their team of diversity sourcers and corporate recruiters. Their objective is to deliver effective recruiting strategies that align with our business objectives and results that uphold our commitment to building diverse and inclusive teams.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Executive Recruiting

  • Own full-cycle recruiting process for senior-level positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluating, and presenting to internal clients.
  • Develop and execute creative, successful, and sustainable sourcing and recruitment strategies that attract diverse, top-quality candidates and ensure an efficient, high-touch candidate experience from initial contact to hire.
  • Partner with leaders to define job specifications for new roles as requested.
  • Curate, manage, and leverage a broad professional network and stay current on market trends.
  • Demonstrate innovative sourcing practices and talent insights for generating rapid, effective results that are aligned to business priorities while maintaining a pipeline for future roles.
  • Build and manage internal client relationships with key stakeholders across various functions, businesses, and geographies through a consultative and collaborative approach, demonstrated sense of urgency, and consistently delivering on commitments.
  • Prepare lead generation and candidate progress reports for executive leadership and HR that includes industry trends, market findings, compensation data, key selection criteria benchmarking, etc.
  • Conduct confidential exploratory conversations with key candidates, both passive and actively looking.

 Leading the Central Diversity Sourcing & Corporate Recruiting Function:

  • Manage, coach, and develop internal candidate sourcing and recruitment staff to foster higher operational excellence and efficiency.
  • Define Corporate recruitment roadmap including:
    • Employer branding
    • Innovative sourcing and diverse pipelining
    • Fair and inclusive hiring practices
    • Recruiting and sourcing performance metrics
  • Proactively partner with HR, Business leaders and Diversity & Inclusion to align and deliver on candidate needs and KPIs.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Recruiting
  • 2+ years executive search experience or other related executive/senior-level recruiting. Previous experience in Entertainment/Marketing/Creative/Hospitality is a plus.
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate recruiting and sourcing environment.
  • Proven track record of success with building sourcing and recruiting strategies, lead generation and conversion in a dynamic, fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Experience working in a consultative role comprised of advising, influencing, negotiating and full executive talent search management.
  • Deep functional skills and market expertise including:
    • Advanced proficiency with ATS and using LinkedIn and other internet mining tools
    • Use of social media tools for attracting, market positioning, and talent engagement
    • Strategic sourcing capabilities with expertise in advanced Boolean and semantic searching, professional networking, and innovative, direct sourcing techniques
  • Proactive and results-driven with ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and influencing.
  • Great self-management capacity, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Experience leading a recruiting team.
  • Spanish bilingual is a plus.

The expected compensation for this position is:

$200,000.00 USD - $250,000.00 USD

** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
