Nurse Technician – Full Time & Part Time - Med/Surg & Emergency Department

We have Full Time and Part Time Nurse Technician positions available at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist located in Brooklyn, NY. Three weekend is required for the first 2 years of employment (every Saturday & Sunday).

We currently have the following shifts available:

Evening Shift - 3:30PM - 12:00AM

Night Shift - 11:45PM - 7:45AM

Preferred Criteria

• Minimum one year experience as Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED 

• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Technician/Patient Care Technician Program or Nursing Assistant, EKG, and Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program

• Nurse Technician/ Patient Care Technician or Nursing Assistant, EKG, and Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certificate

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association
