About the role
As the Senior Asset Manager you’ll lead the a team of 17 with 8 direct reports including a Senior Facilities Manager, Asset Managers, Facilities Managers, Compliance Manager and Administration.  You’ll also oversee the delivery of our comprehensive management service across the entire Foodstuffs North Island property portfolio which is made up of 186 supermarket retail stores, 95 development sites and 12 supply chain properties.
 
Some things you’ll get involved with include:
·       Lease preparation, lease renewal, rent reviews, tenant liaison, property inspections, building insurance and reporting and implementing maintenance programs.
·       Ensuring that compliance activities are completed on time including required remedial work
·       Overseeing the facilities management team for the support offices to ensure smooth and effective operations
·       Developing and maintaining regular reports to measure and report on the team and property portfolio performance for the board
·       Manage budgets
·       Maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, including colleagues, managers, members, landlords, tenants, retailers, suppliers and contractors
 
About you
You’ll have proven robust experience in a senior leadership role within commercial property, either directly in property management services or in related property fields.
 
You’ll also be:
·       A collaborative and a natural people leader, with the ability to build robust relationships with stakeholders. 
·       Able to effectively mitigate any escalations and work well under pressure
·       Organised and diligent with exceptional time management
·       Analytical and detail orientated
·       An effective communicator in all forms and able to have the tough conversations
·       Receptive to new ideas and change, seeking out continuous improvement
