What you will do
Johnson Controls is undergoing a significant business transformation program, with many initiatives being technology-enabled. As an IT Business Analyst, you will support the alignment of Business and IT objectives, identify opportunities for process advancement leveraging technology, and contribute to business capability and technology projects. Your role involves translating business capabilities into functional requirements, analyzing gaps between current and desired states, and collaborating with stakeholders and IT teams to develop, test, and deploy solutions.
How you will do it
Business and IT Alignment
Align strategic and tactical business objectives with corresponding IT objectives in partnership with business stakeholders and enterprise IT colleagues.
Support business risk management, regulatory compliance (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley), information security, and audit remediation activities.
Collaborate with EMEA IT and business organizations to identify opportunities for process standardization leveraging technology and existing investments.
Participate in ideation activities to create high-level process and technology roadmaps and contribute to business case creation.
Solution Delivery
Participate in the creation of IT investment proposals in partnership with business stakeholders and IT delivery colleagues.
Map business objectives and capability needs to specific business functions and processes.
Conduct discovery and document user stories, business requirements, functions, processes, and enabling technologies.
Map business process flows, including all critical data elements (e.g., supplier, input, process, output, customer).
Drive and facilitate requirements workshops, product demonstrations, User Acceptance Testing coordination, and communications.
Translate business capabilities and process designs into functional requirements or user stories, and work with business stakeholders to review and secure agreement on requirements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT colleagues to develop, test, and deploy solutions that meet business capability needs and ensure successful achievement of scope, cost, schedule, quality, adoption, and value outcomes.
Participate in the development of solution training material and execution of change management activities.
Support business continuity and disaster recovery efforts.
Utilize IT-internal governance processes.
What we look for
Required
Experienced Business Analyst with 2+ years of proven IT project delivery participation.
Strong understanding of business process analysis and change management.
Experience working with IT delivery teams and business SMEs.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to articulate business process requirements to a development team and vice versa (IT requirements to the business) to support implementation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred
Master’s Degree in IT.
Certification in Business Analysis competency.
Knowledge of Johnson Controls business.
Solid digital acumen with experience in business process automation, RPA, or generative AI.
Agile or Scrum certification.
Experience in process optimization in complex matrix international organizations.

The gross monthly salary for this position starts from 2,000 EUR per month, plus a monthly bonus that starts after your first 6 months. Please note this is a minimum salary and our compensation packages are based on your professional experience and qualifications.
