Job Summary
The Executive Director, Platforms & AI Tools leads the technology strategy, development, and operations for Comcast’s external corporate digital ecosystem—including the corporate website and career site. This role ensures Comcast’s digital platforms deliver exceptional user experiences, performance, accessibility, and security. Additionally, the Executive Director drives the group’s AI strategy and integration efforts, implementing tools and capabilities that enhance efficiency, personalization, and decision-making across corporate brand communications and digital operations.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Digital Platform Strategy & Leadership
Oversee technology strategy and long-term planning for Comcast’s corporate amd career sites.
Ensure platforms are reliable, scalable, secure, and accessible across all devices and audiences.
Partner with communications, HR, and investor relations teams to translate business goals into effective digital solutions.
Define standards for platform governance, user experience, and performance measurement.
AI Strategy & Integration
Lead the development and implementation of AI strategies that enhance digital engagement, content delivery, and workflow automation.
Identify and integrate AI tools that improve search, personalization, analytics, and accessibility across corporate digital platforms.
Partner with data, engineering, and communications teams to pilot and scale AI-driven capabilities that improve audience experience and operational efficiency.
Establish ethical AI practices and ensure compliance with Comcast’s data privacy and responsible technology standards.
Platform Development & Operations
Oversee ongoing development, optimization, and maintenance of all corporate web properties.
Manage relationships with technology vendors, development partners, and internal IT teams.
Ensure seamless integration across platforms, including content management systems, analytics tools, and third-party technologies.
Drive continuous improvement in website performance, SEO, accessibility, and security.
Governance, Security & Compliance
Establish governance frameworks for digital content, technology updates, and AI usage.
Partner with security, legal, and compliance teams to maintain regulatory adherence and data protection across all platforms.
Ensure adherence to accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
Implement quality assurance processes for code deployment, updates, and user experience.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead a cross-functional team of digital platform engineers, UI/UX architects, and AI specialists.
Foster collaboration with communications, HR, investor relations, and IT teams to ensure alignment across initiatives.
Promote innovation, continuous learning, and adoption of emerging digital and AI technologies.
Develop talent, set clear objectives, and manage resources to achieve operational excellence.
Measurement & Optimization
Define KPIs and reporting structures to measure website performance, AI adoption, and user engagement.
Use data insights to inform platform enhancements and technology investment decisions.
Drive a culture of measurement and accountability, ensuring digital and AI initiatives deliver business value.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
12+ years of experience leading digital platforms, web technology, or enterprise IT operations.
Proven success managing large-scale website ecosystems or digital platforms.
Strong background in web architecture, CMS technologies, and platform integration.
Experience leading AI strategy or integrating AI tools within enterprise environments.
Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills with executive stakeholders.
Preferred:
Experience in telecommunications, media, or other complex enterprise organizations.
Knowledge of AI/ML tools, cloud-based architectures, and data-driven personalization technologies.
Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG), SEO, and content governance best practices.
Experience managing vendor relationships and technology contracts for enterprise web solutions.
