Flexera offers an exciting opportunity for Revenue Operations Business Partner to drive efficiency improvements across a wide range of operational areas. Flexera is experiencing rapid growth across all geographies and the Sales Operations function is critical to our ability to scale the business to support and drive additional growth. Candidates must be analytical, have exceptional communication skills, experience in working productively with senior management across an organization, excellent judgment, comfortable juggling multiple tasks, and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The role will also interact with the CEO, CFO, SVPs, Finance and Accounting teams, VP of Marketing & Product Management as well as leaders across the IT organization to drive continual improvement and ensure proper allocation of resources and the ability to meet growth goals of the business.
Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership Reporting
Identify and analyze data that provides insight into ways in which the field sales leaders can increase productivity.
Forecast reporting from Rep to VP
Attainment reporting and Pipeline to look forward at rep attainment o Trends and overall analysis forward-looking
SFDC / CRM
Work closely with Sales leadership, IT and Marketing to continue evolution of Salesforce.com implementation to support worldwide pipeline and bookings growth goals and efficiency improvements
Performance Management
Work with HR and the CRO to ensure that performance is being measured and attainment and activity metrics are being tracked. This includes, but is not limited to, helping the CRO cascade goals down to the Sales VP’s and putting consistent and relevant goals into the hands of the field.
Work with the Operations Reporting Team to ensure that the Sales VP’s have the right amount of reporting/data to properly assess their teams and use this data to help the Sales Enablement team develop curriculum that will allow them to focus on the right things to improve upon or enable
Sales Calendar and Events
Establish a rolling 6-month sales calendar of events covering items Bi-Monthly Staff Meetings, CRO off-site strategic planning sessions (quarterly), Board Meetings, Forecast reviews etc.
Drive the agenda for all staff meetings to ensure that the relevant items are being reviewed and discussed
Look for ways to get the CRO face or air time with the field so that the field is getting visibility into the direction and vision
Capacity Planning and Compensation
Work closely with CRO and Finance organization to determine growth goals by region and solution and ensure we hire in advance of needs while maintaining expense budgets
Compensation plan design and alignment to organizational goals
Maintain Global Rules of Engagement and other compensation documents to drive
Growth objectives and clear understanding of coverage models and compensation
Guidelines across the sales teams globally
Forecasting and Board Reporting
Work closely with Sales Leadership, CRO, VP Sales and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting globally
When the CRO is unable to attend a forecast call, run the call. When one of the Sales VP’s is unavailable to make a forecast call, aggregate the relevant deal and overall data to ensure that the forecast is up to date and accurate
At quarter end, be the “eyes and ears” for the CRO tracking every single deal that is moving in or out and ensure that for the last two weeks of the quarter that the SVP SALES understands the scoreboard to the minute detail.
Weekly Bookings reporting to Senior Management and Board
Preparation of monthly Board presentation
Budget Planning
Work closely with FP&A and Sales leadership to ensure that the budget aligns with corporate expectations for any new fiscal year and a rolling 6 quarter plan
Hiring
Work closely with Finance and Sales leadership on headcount planning
Ensure that the global sales team is always at capacity relative to open headcount/job requisitions
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
Discretion and ability to deal with highly sensitive data is of utmost importance
Ability to prioritize many tasks at once and effectively communicate to internal stakeholders the
status of all requests
Ability to execute – get things done quickly
Strong process management and analytical skills
Analytical, comfortable working with data and telling story based on data
Excellent strategic and operational vision
Ability to understand business objectives and consistently manage details of execution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superior administrative and organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Proven ability to manage a team as well as long-term strategic projects
Ability to think creatively in order to improve systematic processes and reporting delivery
Results-oriented team player with can-do attitude, hands-on approach and ability to interface
effectively with all levels of organization
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Significant experience with software programs, databases and sales force automation systems
High degree of initiative, sound independent judgment and problem solving
High level of integrity, work ethic, professionalism and ability to manage confidential
information appropriately
High degree of flexibility and adaptability, ability to switch gears in challenging situations, and learn/adopt new methodologies
Experience in data management and reporting
Experience leading sales operations for a technology company is highly preferred
Background in direct or indirect sales, with a technology company is a plus
