Reframe Systems is on a mission to build attainable, low-carbon housing for all. We factory build our modules in Andover, MA and ship to site. Our homes are assembled from multiple modules craned into place. We are disrupting assembly line manufacturing for housing production and are backed by leading VC firms in the industrial and construction space.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a highly skilled flat roofer to join our factory carpentry team. The candidate will have a strong background in the installation of EPDM and TPO and be open to learning/performing general carpentry tasks. The majority of this role will be in our Andover, MA factory. Once we ship modules to site you will be our roofing specialist during the field installation. Current jobsites are in Somerville, MA, with plans later this year for Devens, MA. 

Responsibilities:

• Consult with in-house design team to plan for roof materials and installation

• Install rooftop insulation and crickets as per plans

• Install  EPDM and TPO roofs with all associated gluing/welding/taping

• Installation of pipe boots, pitch pockets, scuppers, penetration flashings

• Interest or expertise in using metal brakes for flashing and trim details

• Perform general carpentry tasks, including framing, sheathing, and installation of walls, floors, and ceilings

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to resolve issues

• Assist with moving materials and organizing workstations to ensure smooth production flow

• Ensure proper storage and handling of tools and materials

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace

• Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 3+ years of experience installing EPDM and TPO roofing systems

• 1+ years of experience with general carpentry, construction, and handywork

• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.

• Strong interest in performing carpentry tasks, including framing and finishing

• Physical ability to perform tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, and working overhead for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
