Job Summary

Provides research and administrative support for a large portfolio of global health research, including randomized controlled trials and longitudinal cohort studies. Assists with regulatory compliance, data management, research proposal development, and faculty development programming within the Division of Global Health Equity (DGHE).

Essential Functions
- Assist with compliance and auditing of a large research portfolio (RCTs and cohort studies), including updating regulatory documents such as IRB submissions, amendments, and continuing reviews.
- Manage data curation and repository workflows, including organization of datasets, documentation, and coordination with data sharing requirements.
- Engage in self-directed research of mutual interest to the RA and PI, with opportunities for co-authorship and professional development.
- Assist in the development and management of DGHE research faculty development opportunities, including journal clubs, works-in-progress sessions, and grant writing workshops.
- Assist with preparing progress reports, including descriptive statistics and summaries for sponsors and collaborators.
- Gather information and contribute to the development of new research proposals.


 

Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's Degree Science required

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
Relevant research and data management experience 1-2 years required. Experience in global health research preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Careful attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize across a variety of tasks.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including database tools and statistical software.
- Knowledge of data management programs and research regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and exercise professional judgment.
- Interest in global health research and faculty development.
