About the Role & Team:

The Senior Specialist will be responsible for managing end-to-end operational workflows for live sports streaming from Korea to international broadcast hubs (such as ESPN Bristol, USA), ensuring the seamless launch and execution of live events on the Disney+ app. This role focuses on overall transmission scheduling, vendor and stakeholder coordination, workflow management, and maintaining operational standards. Additionally, this role will provide operational support for SVOD (Subscription Video on Demand) Korean content packaging, localization, and delivery for Disney+ Korea. Deep engineering specialization is not required; a solid background in media/streaming workflows, strong operational capability, and clear communication skills are essential.

What You Will Do:

management, feed testing, and live event monitoring.

  • Stakeholder & Partner Liaison: Serve as the key operational point of

contact between Korean content providers and overseas transmission

teams, facilitating clear communication regarding operational schedules,

requirements, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Vendor & Workflow Management: Oversee live transmission tests and

operational readiness; manage partner onboarding, compliance with

operational guidelines, and issue escalation during live events.

  • Branding & Commercial Integration: Coordinate the insertion of

commercials, slates, bumpers, and branding during live feeds in

collaboration with internal cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Legal).

  • Process Documentation & Quality Control: Maintain up-to-date SOPs,

operational logs, issue tracking records, and event schedules while

supporting partner self-sufficiency to streamline ongoing operations.

Secondary Responsibilities (SVOD Operation Support)

  • SVOD Content Delivery Support: Assist with the packaging, localization

(subtitling/dubbing), and delivery of Korean SVOD content for Disney+

Korea.

  • Asset & Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and

external distributors/licensors for content asset acquisition, processing,

and status tracking.

  • Administrative Operations: Support purchase order generation, vendor

invoice processing, asset tracking, and metadata updates in coordination

with library and production teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in media, TV

broadcasting, OTT, or live content streaming operations.

  • Core Skills & Knowledge:

Solid understanding of digital media delivery workflows and live streaming

operations.

Familiarity with content localization, video asset delivery, and SVOD

workflows.

Demonstrated experience in vendor management, client servicing, and

collaborative problem-solving under tight timelines.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Excellent oral and written communication skills in

both Korean and English.

  • Clear & Timely Communication: Proven ability to convey operational

updates and timelines clearly across internal teams and external partners.

  • Interpersonal & Stakeholder Skills: Strong capability to build and maintain

effective working relationships across global and local teams.
