Team Blurb
The User Experience Research Team is a dynamic team of mixed method UX Research and Data Strategists. We proactively uphold our mission to promote a culture of design thinking that results in useful, scalable, immersive and TCGplayer brand-worthy products. We champion a human-centered approach to product experiences, and advocate for our users in partnership with our product, leadership, marketing and technology teams.
What you will accomplish:
Lead, design, conduct, and report on all phases of complex user research, including:
Identifying user needs and research questions.
Developing and executing research plans (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, surveys).
Analyzing and synthesizing research data to identify key insights and trends.
Creating clear and compelling presentations to communicate research findings to business partners
Partner with cross-functional teams and leaders (product managers, designers, engineers) to ensure user-centered design principles are integrated throughout the product development process.
Enhance team standards and practices of VOC Programs (NPS, CSAT) and Experience Research efforts
Promote excellence in Research Operations in Democratizing Research across the product organization
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
Stay current on the latest UX research methodologies and best practices.
Develop and mentor junior UX researchers within the team.
Advocate for the value of user research within the organization.
Collaborate with product marketing and sales teams to understand customer needs and inform go-to-market strategies.
What you will bring:
Degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum 8+ years of experience in user experience research.
Proven experience in leading and conducting a variety of user research methods (interviews, user testing, surveys, etc.) and the ability to determine the right approach in addressing business needs
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex research findings to executive level audiences & business partner teams
Experience & comfort working in an agile development environment is a plus.
Experience with user research tools and methodologies (e.g., Figma, Ballpark, Qualtrics) is a plus.
Experience mentoring and coaching junior researchers is a plus.
