Position Summary

As an Assistant Product Development Manager, you will assist the Product Development team grow the Store Brand business and achieve budgeted sales goals through the development of new innovative products that meet customers' needs.  The primary responsibility for this role is assisting with all aspects of the product development stage gate processes. You will work as part of the Consumables Product Development Team, reporting directly to a Product Development Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support Product Development Manager and act as a liaison between vendors and the internal partners

  • Utilize project management tools to ensure cross-functional teams are following and adhering to timelines

  • Manage vendor set up and UPC generation for new item development

  • Organize and manage planogram files, product samples, ingredient details, pricing and launch information

  • Assist in market research and competitive analysis/review when needed


Required Qualifications

Ability to commute to Woonsocket, RI office 3 times per week (Tuesday-Thursday)

Ability to travel 10-15% of the time


Preferred Qualifications
Previous Product Development and retail experience

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 - $107,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
