About the role
22 bed unit that provides rehabilitation to patients with neurological conditions, rheumatology, cancer, transplant, LVADs, aged care, orthopaedic, and HIV patients.
Providing a comprehensive program to assist people to achieve their maximum potential when recovering from an injury, illness or surgery.
The team works together with the client to achieve goals (such as safe walking, independence in showering and dressing, adjusting to changes in your life).
The rehabilitation service consists of clinical psychology, diversional therapy, nursing services, nutritional services, medical services, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech pathology, social work, pharmacy and pastoral care.
About you
Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Demonstrated ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in daily practice.
Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
