Als Jabil Optics Germany GmbH in Jena sind wir Teil des weltweit zweitgrößten Auftragsfertigers Jabil und führend bei der Entwicklung von opto-elektro-mechanischen Modulen für Augmented, Virtual and Mixed Reality, moderne Kamerasysteme sowie Gestensteuerung/ 3D Sensing. Im Optics Design Center in Jena entwickeln wir mit über 120 Mitarbeitenden opto-elektro-mechanische Design-Lösungen für AR/VR-Brillen, autonomes Fahren (LiDAR, Driver Monitoring, ADAS- Kamera-Systeme, Eye Tracking), Robotics, Action Cameras, Smartphones, Endoskope und viele weitere Anwendungen.

Zur Verstärkung an unserem Entwicklungsstandort in Jena suchen wir ab sofort für mindestens sechs Monate mit einem Umfang von 10 – 15 Stunden / Woche (nach individueller Absprache) eine/ einen

Werkstudent/-in Mechanical Design (m/w/d) 

Ihre Aufgaben: 

• Übernahme von Teilaufgaben von Konstruktionen für Fertigungsmittel und Vorrichtungsbau (unter Anleitung)
• Betreuung und Organisation einer internen CAD-Datenbank (unter Anleitung)
• Integration der Konstruktionsnormensammlung in ein digitales Portal (unter Anleitung)
• Aufbau und Entwicklung eines Model-Based-Definition-Prozess im CAD mit PTC Creo 11 und PLM-System Windchill

Ihr Profil: 

• begonnenes (Fach-)Hochschulstudium Master in den Fachrichtungen Feinwerktechnik, Laser- und Optotechnologie, Maschinenbau o.Ä. 
• erste Erfahrungen in der Konstruktion von Komponenten/Baugruppen
• erste Kenntnisse PTC Creo 11 und PLM-System Windchill wünschenswert
• erste Erfahrungen in der Zeichnungserstellung nach ISO/ GPS Standard
• Freude und Interesse an technischen Lösungen und Affinität zu effizienten Prozessen in der Konstruktion
• Motivation zur Weiterentwicklung persönlicher und fachlicher Fähigkeiten im Konstruktionsumfeld
