Job Description
What is the opportunity?
In this role, supporting RBC Global Asset Management (GAM) you will provide operational & administrative support to the Trading Room. You will also propose and implement automation and streamline processes where applicable.

What will you do?
Provide administrative support to the trading desk.
Assist in the input of trade information and the reconciliation of previous day trading activity.
Research security prices as required.
Act as a liaison between trading and operations staff.
Ensure timely and accurate settlement of all trades.
Identify trade settlement issues while offering solutions to minimize risks or costs.
Provide assistance and support to trade room staff and portfolio managers when implementing new processes or revising existing procedures.
Pro-actively offer solutions for streamlining processes and/or procedures and ability to implement suggestions or new projects as developed.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
Knowledge of Excel with the ability to use and maintain macros.
Must be a self-starter that can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong oral and written skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Nice to Have
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate intricate trade discrepancies and recommend a course of action.
Familiarity with trading terminology and back-office processes.
Working knowledge to any of the following systems: Charles River, Bloomberg, PCView, FX Connect, CloudMargin

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$55,000.00 - $90,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location.
