Asian Food Business Development Manager

Now, we’re looking for a World Food Business Development Manager to join our team. This role will play a key part in the overall growth of the organisation along with helping to maintain our core ethos here are Sysco – keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do.

The role requires a candidate who will be:

A self-starter with a detailed knowledge of the Asian Food Market

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for consistent delivery of sales, profit and margin targets for your assigned area
  • Responsible for role modelling and building effective relationships with key customers and stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Advocate and drive consistent use of all available system tools
  • Maintain and grow the customer base in your assigned area
  • Be responsive and flexible to your customers’ needs

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English
  • An in-depth knowledge of the Asian food market
  • Strong credit control skills
  • 3 -5 years field sales experience within Asian food foodservice sales market
  • High level of flexibility
  • Be a team player with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Have a proactive approach to customer needs
  • Strong analytical skills and computer literacy
  • Full clean B Driving License
  • Capability of proving credibility with customers and building strong customer relationships preferred
  • Highly motivated and driven to achieve sales targets.
  • Outstanding organisation skills and ability to prioritise work.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and issue resolution.
